Tanerore, Summer Learning Journey

 Bonjour bloggers.

The Summer Learning Journey task I have done now is called Tanerore. We had to watch a video and try and draw our own Tanerore. I drew some Korus and added some different detail. I had heaps of fun drawing this picture.

Thank you for reading my blog post.
If you have any time please leave a comment!!

  1. Kia Ora Brittany,

My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.

I thought this activity was very interesting as it teaches you about Tānerore who you are able to see often on these hot summer days and about the infamous kowhaiwhai pattern seen throughout Māori culture. I was glad to read what you had learnt about Tānerore, have you seen him in the hot air yet this summer?

Your Kowhaiwhai pattern looks great, I like that you drew it yourself and used different Kowhaiwhai patterns with the Koru and lines.

If you were to add color to your drawing what color would you add?

Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.

    Ngā mihi nui,
    Zana Yates
