Choir Rehersal

Kia Ora Bloggers,

Today the choir from Waikowhai Primary School went down to Hay Park to practice all the songs that we have learned so far in choir rehearsals at school. There was my school Waikowhai Primary choir, Hay Park choir, Mt Eden choir, Riverdale choir, Hillsoborogh choir, Aroha choir and North co choir. The person who conducted us in most songs was named Mr Lambert. Miss McGrath is our choir teacher and she conducted two songs. We had to run through all the songs that we practiced during practices at school. We practiced about four songs with Mr Lamberd conducting us. After a lot of singing we got to go and have some moring tea and a play for about 20 mins and then we had to come back inside to do some more singing.

The first two songs we sang was conducted buy Miss McGrath. Miss McGrath conducted us on the first two songs. Called Ke Manuia Te Aho and in winter. Soon after, Mr Lambert conducted the last three songs. After singing all the songs we had about 31 mins extra so we started to learn a new song and then we had to get ready to walk back to school. My favourite part of the day was singing all the songs. I had a great and fun day.

Capiscum smackdown

Kia ora, Welcome back to my blog.
In Te Waka Ako we have been doing a google drawing about a fruit or vegetable. We had to get into partners and pick a fruit or vegetable that we were going to write about. We choose the vegetable capiscum. We had to find some information about the capiscum. Some tiye of information was, where they grow, is capiscum good for you and what family they belong to. We also had to find a recapie that had our vegetable in it and some nutrition facts. Me and my partner found a lot of infomation about a capiscum.

After we had finnshed our google drawing we had to practise saying all the information and showing the recipe about capiscum for two minutes. We had to pretend that we were telling all the information to Te Waka Ako. The next day we got to actually show it to Te Waka Ako. Everyone got to do this but they did it to a different fruit or vegetable.
