Futsal

Hi Everyone, I'm back!

Lately we have been doing Futsal for our kiwisport this term. We have had two sessons so far. In our first sesson we learned how to dribble and juggle. When we got the hang of dribbling, we played a game. We had to dribble the ball and when our coach said freeze we had to put one of our feet on the ball and stand still. The last one to do it had to do ten star jumps. Also if our couch said ten, two, five or any number we had to get into a group of whatever number our coach said. If you didn't have a group of that number you would have to do ten star jumps. We also played a game called the number game. We got put into two groups, the non bibs and bibs. I was in the bibs team. Both teams got numbers from one to ten. The coach will call out a number or numbers and that number from each team will come out a try and score a goal for there team.

Then next sesson we had two coaches. We played the dribbling game but there was a new rule. If our coach said a body part you would have to put that body part on the ball. We also played a game when our coach said head we would have to catch it and if he said catch we would have to donk the ball with our head. Because we had two coaches we got in two groups and we stood around our coach and he would go around the circle. If you did the wrong thing you would have to sit down. We did that one time and then we did it again. This time whoever won got to play against the winner on the other team. We also played the number game again and I was in the non bibs team.

Paikea and the whale.

Kia Ora bloggers' I'm back!

Last term we have been learning about Paikea and the whale. We have been doing work around paikea and the whale. We have done two activity so far. The first activity we did was we had to read the Paikea and the whale story and then we had to answer six questions about the story Paikea and the whale.

Our second activity was we had to read the story again and summarise the story in our own words. We also had to find three adjectives and look in a dictionary to find the meaning of that word. These activity have been fun and I can't wait for our next activity about Paikea and the whale.

Honshu facts

Kia Ora, Bloggers, I'm back

In reading we have been learning about the rugby world cup. We have been doing activities about the countries who play rugby and about the cup. We had to find out ten things that are unique to a main island on Japan. I choose Honshu. Aswell as finding facts about Honshu we had to put a picture beside the fact showing what it is.

It was a little bit hard finding facts about Honshu but I found out all the facts in the end. It was also fun to find some things about Honshu because I didn't know anything about Honshu.

Here is my work on Honshu. Click on things link and it will take you to my work.
