Rise up, Summer Learning Journey

 Kia Ora bloggers.

I did a task called rise up. We had to watch a video of the song rise up and lisen to the chours. Then we had to write our own chours to do with achieving our goals and rising up.
Here is what I came up with.

Thank you for reading my blog post.
If you have any time please leave a comment!
Blog you later!!

  1. Hi Brittany! My name is Lyan and I from Hornby High School from the Uru Mānuka Cluster. I loved reading your blogpost, it was very inspiring to read your chorus. The chorus was written very well and I especially liked it when you mentioned the subject of standing tall, I found it very motivating. When reading your chorus it reminded me of a poem I have read recently, which was called Stand Tall written by Chrissie Pinney.

Next time if you ever do this again, I would suggest decorating the picture up a bit so that it could attract more viewers to look at your blog. Other than that your blog post was a pleasure to read. I hope to see more quality blog posts in that future! Have a great day!

  2. Kia ora Brittany. I like your chorus. It's a great positive message and it reminds me a bit of the Duffy song! If you wanted to, maybe you could record yourself singing your chorus? You could use Incredibox or Chrome Music Lab to create a backing track.

  3. Kia Ora Brittany,

My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.

I thought this activity was awesome as I liked reading everyone's thoughtful and positive song lyrics. Your lyrics followed a great theme and shared a positive message of standing tall and strong!

To step up your post you could share the meaning and inspiration for your lyrics as well as a video of you either singing or reading them!

I am happy to hear you enjoyed this. Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.

    Ngā mihi nui,
    Zana Yates
