Writing a Myth

 Kia Ora Bloggers.

As you know there are myths about how the Kiwi lost its wings and how a Elephant has a trunk. Well in writing we have been watching those myths and planning to write our own myth. We got to come up with an animal and think of something unique about that animal. Then we had to plan the charcters and the setting. After that we had to write a myth about how that animal got the unique thing about it so that we could make it a Myth.
Thank you for reading my blog post.

  1. Hi Brittany, it's awesome to hear that you have been so creative with your writing. I'd love to read your myth but when I click the link, I had to ask for access. Could you change your settings on this please? I'll look forward to seeing you in rehearsals tomorrow - it'll be fun! Stay well, and keep being kind!

  2. Thanks Brittany - a very creative myth indeed. You've used a good range of descriptive language features and included a variety of punctuation, ka pai! Maybe you should add a sun safety message at the end, like 'so if you don't want to look like a flamingo - wear sunscreen!' :-)

Nice post :) when i had to make a myth i spent a long time trying to think what to do it about it's funny how the flamingo got a sunburn and that's how it got it's colour! 4. Hi Brittany
What an imaginative piece of writing. I was hooked and kept reading so I could find out how flamingo became pink. How did you decide what to use as your change
of colouring idea for her? I'm now wondering how the male flamingos feel being pink? I like the way you have used interesting vocabulary to add interest to your story. Thank you for sharing it on your blog.
Keep up the fabulous effort and we will see you when school is back.
