This week for reaing we did lots of work. One of my reading task I had to answer questions about the book we were reading. This week I read a book called White shoes. It was a cool and interesting story. The book White shoes was about a boy who had to moved to live with his grandma so that he could learn more about his culture but at first he didn' want to move. However, after a couple months he had learnt Moari language and the culture and he loved living with his grandma. After I read the book I had to anwser ten questions about White shoes. We read about this book because we are learning about belonging and racism happening around the world and NZ.
