Memorial Assembly
Welcome back bloggers, I’m back!!!
One the 14th of March something terrible happened in Christchurch. If you don’t know what happened there was a mosque attack of shooting in Christchurch. It was a very sad thing to hear about because 50 people died in the attack. Our school has acknowledged what happened in Christchurch. Our school made some cards and we had a special assembly. We first went to the hall and sang the national anthem and had one minute of silence.
After that we lined up and went outside and sang ‘Aotearoa’. We also planted a Kowhai tree to remember those who died. I hope that nothing like this ever happens again in New Zealand. My school wants to practice lockdown as much as we can just in case something like this happens in Auckland. If you would like can you please donate to christchurch of the areas that were affected.

Kia kaha we all stand together.
