CROSS COUNTRY ZONES

Hey bloggers! Today I am goiung to be blogging about cross country zones.
On Thursday the 26th of September the year fours, five and sixs that go first, second, third, fourth and fith in cross country went to cross country zones at Monte Cecelia. When we got there we put out a mat for all of us to sit on. Then we put up a Waikowhai primary school flag and the we put our bags on the mat. Then it started raining a bit so we went under a tree. There was about five schools there. Then we walked th corse that we were going to run.

At about ten o,lock the lady who runs the cross country zones told us how the day was going to run. The at about ten twenty the year four girls from every school went to the starting line. Then the lady who runs the cross country told them how many laps they were going to do. Then the lady said on your marks get set go and they were of. They had to do two laps of the coruse.

When the year fours girls had all finshed they go a number writen on there hand. Then number on there hand was what place they came. Then they would go to a lady and she would record your place down. Then the year four boys went strate up to the starting line and got told hw many laps they were doing. They had to do two laps like the girls. Then the lady said on your marks get set go. Then they were of. Just like before the had to get a number writen on there hand and a lady would record it down.

Finally it was time for the year five girls do run there race. They had to do three laps. The lady said on your marks get set go and I was of. I came in twelfth place and then I got it recorded down. Then it was time for the year five boys to race they had to do the same amount of laps that the year five girls did. Like before the lady said on your marks get set go and they were running.

Strate after there race the year six girls raced, they had to do three laps like the year fives girls. After the race they got it recorded down and finally it was time for the year six boys to race. They had to do the same amount as the year fives and year six girls. After there race they did the same as everyone else and then we packed up everything and the lady who runs the cross country zones told us who won and then we were on our way back to Waikowhai Primary School.

I was a very fun day and I was very proud of myself.
